How does the Run 4 FREE incentive work?

If a Blackmores Sydney Running Festival runner, who is fundraising for your charity, achieves the $500 minimum target to claim their ticket rebate, it is your charity who is responsible for providing that runner with their rebate, after the event.  

For example, if a runner raises $500, and their entry fee is $80. then what that runner will have raised for you will net $420 (less 3% surcharge for the event organisers, to cover some of the substantial event costs). Tickets range from $35 - $120 (For early bird tickets).

You will be given a report after the event listing the runners who fundraised $500 or more for your charity and requested their ticket rebate. The report will include their banking details for your charity to process the rebates and put the ticket rebate into the runners accounts.

Runners must submit their request for a ticket rebate no later than the event day, Sunday 16th September 2018, to be eligible. This is clearly communicated all runners. 

We suggest you plan ahead with your finance team, so as to promptly process the rebates and give your supporters a great experience.

We expect many runners will chose not to receive the rebate, so that more money goes to your organisation, and would mean that (a) you would not have to process the rebate, and (b) the net amount you receive would be $500 (less the 3% surcharge).
